What did the second email mention, I only got one never heard of this before:)

I emailed them myself asking will my phone be reserved and can i pick up what ever time I can on the day... The manager replied saying your reserved phone will be set to one side for you to pick up at a time that suites you within that day.

Thats good I hope your right!!! I am going to try my luck in o2 first then make my way to apple after

That video looks brilliant! Still sticking with the 16gb though instead of the 32gb. My camera does 720p recording and i get along absolutely fine with an 8GB micro SD. My recordings are hardly ever more than 30 seconds anyways when I'm out and about and I'm expecting to have roughly 11GB free like I did with the 3GS so I should be sorted!

Hi guys, 2 questions i have,

1) Is the white one for people who get to the stores first on 24th?

2) Is it better to get to the store the day after (25th) to try and grab one that was reserved and not collected?

Thoughts/past experiences please

White is not available at present as far as i am aware...

Reading what others have said about pre-orders drying up and deliveries getting pushed back to mid-july they may use this "waste" to fill those orders... However they might indeed keep them, in which case going the day after would put you in a good position, a few ppl on here have already said they might not go for their reserved iPhone, so others may think the same...

Just phoned up my local Orange store, as I wont be able to pop in until after work (5:30-6ish).

They said that they'll be open 9am-7:30pm, but they aren't supposed to be taking pre-orders. What they're doing though is taking details, writing out post-it notes, and sticking them ontop of phones, and keeping them for 24 hours. :)

Basically, with any luck (ie. they keep their promise), that's my 32GB black sorted. :D

Had no problem here, booked my preorder here with Orange for a 32gb black then went in and paid my deposit while he entered all my details in to the computer, and this is for a PAYG, guy told me they are definitly getting white in even though im certain nobody is, I just nodded my head and walked out.

Having debated over this for a while... I think I'm gonna wait b4 going ahead and purchasing one of these... the lack of unlimited data on any of the standard plans is really putting me off...

I am making my choice based on signal where i live and use my phone as i went for a cheaper contract on t-mobile and spent 18 months having to go outside to use my phone

so dose anyone know what happens if you go over orange's far use data of 750mb? is it a slap on the rist or do they charge you or what?

For orange I have no idea, however

A lady at vodafone has assured me that I could never go over a Gb of data (10,000 web pages)... If O2 think 500 mb is enough for an iPhone then getting 750 mb should be alright.

And on vodafone if you go over the limit there is a 3 strike rule... first 2 times a warning and the third time you start to pay for the extra usage.
