Rooney complain...
we pay thousands of pounds to go half way around the world to watch a bunch of overrated uncommitted idiots try half heartedly to beat a mediocre team from the North of Africa.
These fans pay his wages so he can live his OTT lifestyle and he has the nerve to complain about the fans booing him after another poor performance, the attitude of some England players is PATHETIC.

Despite all the possible excuses I think the sad facts are that England just arent good enough, maybe just maybe this is the truth?. Tbh it really shouldnt be a surprise, you are playing against decent sides with one of the poorest England squads in a long time (IMHO). It seems to me that its a case of the emperors new clothes guys and no one wants to face it or cant believe it, therefore we have all these possible excuses/reasons which are simply that, ie; opinions with no way of proving any of the touted hypotheses for England drawing two games against these decent sides, I say the overwhelmingly likelihood is that the reason is staring you in the face, England are playing to their level. For what its worth imho the only chance is to stick Crouch up front and punt long balls to him, after all it is plain to all that England cant play the passing game.

Nonono, its the ball, and the vuvuzela's, and the wizards. Can't be Englands fault they suck.

Turn a light on people... we haven't lost yet and we have one game left. Germany, France and Spain have all lost to supposedly inferior teams.

COME ON ENGLAND!!

Mexico are SIGNIFICANTLY better than Algeria. We haven't lost, we haven't won either, this isn't a league you need to win to get to the final. Germany has won a game, and were incredibly unlucky with a truly awful ref in the second, Spain played a team that didn't concede a single goal till they went out on penalities in the last world cup, thats incredibly, massively impressive. They are a fantastic defense which is largely due to consistancy, a very good keeper and a good manager and Spain playing rather daftly. They haven't played their second game, they will likely utterly thrash the next team that comes along.

We're doing ever so marginally better than France, who played better teams, thats hardly a thing to be proud of, France are utter turd at the moment, being as good as an utterly crap team who also don't play together, as a team, with a proper formation, any tactics or any understanding with a manager whose inept, yes our teams are very similar, its not something to be happy about. Just to point this out again, you're saying woo, we're on par with France, their manager drops world class players......... because they are born in the wrong month. He took a world cup and Euro winning team, stripped out the best bits because of their birthsigns, and ruined the team. Comparing us to France, is a very very bad thing, comparing us to the 98/2000 France would be something completely different, and we aren't in that old French teams league.

Though you could argue that the nature of their losses were different (except France) , Germany and Spain played well but didn't get the result. We on the other hand played awfully and didn't get the result. If Germany and Spain had another 30 mins you would think they probably wouldn't have lost. England could have had another week last night and still probably wouldn't have won.

I'm not comparing to anyone. I just said we haven't lost yet so people should stop whining, or would you be one of those fans in the crowd stood up booing. Yay, GO ENGLISH FANS!

Darren Bent and Walcott would both have been decent options yesterday. :o

No they wouldn't, well Bent, yes, Walcott is noticeably more useless than SWP, Lennon and is only marginally better than Heskey.

Again I'll say, if Wenger gave him a chance as a striker playing infront of Bendtner/RVP/Arshavin or someone he MIGHT become a little Mickey Owen, he might get a bunch of tap ins when played in behind. But theres a very simple tactic to stopping that, play your defence deep as many defenses are doing in this cup anyway. As a winger, he's truly and utterly abysmal, Walcott would have made the squad worse, not better.

Some of the players very much shouldn't be there, some players left out should be there, Walcott is not one of them, Ashley Young is probably the player we are missing most right now. Consistant crossing ability over 4-5 years, goals, fantastic delivery from freekicks and corners. Pace, defensive workrate, great partnership going forward and defending with his left back, never stops running, never stops trying, one of the fastest in the league and can create things on his own. Honestly can't say a single one of those things about Walcott, or Lennon, or SWP, or Joe Cole or Gerrard.

When you've got a Capello saying how good they were to the press, how nothings wrong and they only need minor tweaks to become great, and the FA sucks the balls of all these guys and no one tells them honestly how bad they are.

HOnestly, booing is EXACTLY what they need. If we clapped them off the pitch, would they not buy into the BS the FA says about them, and think they were unlucky. No, they need to be told just how pathetic they were, booing is fairly instrumental in letting the players know its just not good enough. Boo them and they might actually pick their game up and try something, clap them off, they'll think they are just unlucky.

Since when is it not allowed to boo, when you're playing utter crap.

Joe Cole must have banged Capello's Mrs. He's the only one we have with that something different about him and yet isn't getting a sniff. Replacing a lost Aaron Lennon with the same player in SWP is a joke. There was no sense whatsoever in the change, and what is Peter Crouch going to do with 6 mins game time?

Interesting to read that Adidas sent us 25 Jabulani balls to practise with, before the WC, back in February but the FA lost them. As a result we only started using the ball in May where as everybody else has been practicing with it for months.

Who says the FA is incompetent? :p

If thats true then that pretty damn incompetent of the FA...but nothing surprises me about the FA anymore..bunch of inept monkeys.

Mexico definitely aren't inferior to France, they're actually higher in the ELO rankings than France. Spain was just one of those freak results were the only goal scored was about the only attempt on goal by the other team. Serbia, again are a decent team, the only shock was that they got beat by Ghana, and the sending off for Germany turned the game.

In these games only France looked poor, whilst playing a team that was just as good as them if not better. Germany and Spain stilled looked decent whilst losing, but just had one of those days.

England on the other hand were playing a team miles down the rankings (30 on FIFA, 71(!) on ELO) and just didn't look interested at all across the board. Following the performance against the USA you would have expected some changes from Capello, but it was the same tactics from what was largely the same team and nothing had changed. Indeed it was even worse.

Englands only saving grace is that their last game is against Slovenia who despite a win and a draw against the other two have neither looked particular great or dangerous. It just remains to be seen if Capello has the balls to completely change his tactics and personel as at the moment his system has failed and his players appear not to have their heart in it.

Totally agree, Rooney needs to keep his mouth shut and play better football.

Algeria did play well though, their defending was good and their passing was ten times better than ours. Good movement across the pitch and some really skillful players.

And Heskey has caught Capello in his Gimp suit whilst being trodden on by Thailand maids.

Yep they definitely out passed us thats for sure but didnt quite have the end product...i mean imagine if we play like that against Slovenia??..we are going to get torn a new one quite simply put...Slovenia have the quality to put goals past us.

Lets just hope that come Wed we really pick up our game or else we are more or less out...especially moreso if we lose.

Yeah, can't take it away from the Algerians. They really showed spirit last night and, I hate to say it, if they didn't get anything out of the match, it would have been a tragedy.

Maybe getting knocked out of the group stage, as well as the recent memory of not playing in Euro 2008, will be the kick the England players need to get them motivated. Also, it was out of order for Rooney to call the fans disloyal. If we were disloyal then none of us would care this much.

horrible game, horrible players.....but im not exactly surprised i could have told you months ago england were ****, you have to be pretty delusional to think there a team capable of winning any silverware let alone a world cup.

glad people booed them - absolutely shocking football. overpayed ****ers the lot of them , and wooney rooney can gtfo.

USA to win the world cup !!!! (thats a joke btw)

i do have to give credit to the england supporters there tho , that was the first match iv watched this world cup where someone has managed to drown out the horns and create a little bit of atmosphere.
