England doesn't need a coach - it needs a god damn psychologist!

Firstly, enough talk about our players not being good enough. Rubbish. We're not as strong across the board as some other teams, but we're still good enough to be in with a realistic shot. The group stage should have been comfortable at least.

The problem is that our players look as if they're paralyzed with fear. They won't take ANY chances. They play as if they're wearing concrete boots. SG, WR and FL are simply NOT overrated. All 3 of them are mentioned frequently when you read interviews with players from other countries.

The whole problem is mental. All sports are as much as about your mental state as your physical skills - especially in big tournaments. If we could get our team to freakin' well relax a bit and enjoy themselves we would be 100x better! Instead they're playing as if there's a gun held to their heads.

Oh well, at least everybody in Scotland is happy :p

Rob Green might be in contention to start on Wednesday apparently as he didn't let in a single goal in training today from over 500 attempts.
Him and Heskey will be training with the rest of the squad tomorrow though.

I don't get it, why is it clear there's been a fall out?

James whole tone when being questioned in regards to capellos comments. It's pretty damn obvious there has been a fallout, John Terrys 'light hearted' comments about maybe a few england players getting sent home, something clearly has gone on with the team spirit we just don't know where and in which groups of players.

I think you're just looking too far in to comments made by disappointed players.
James's first response about FC is a question, not a statement, and I think JT has just been man enough to stand up & take the flak on the chin whilst trying to diffuse it.

They all need to get a grip.

Didums "I'm earning 100k a week and the crowd are booing me"

That can only be aimed at one player, not the whole squad.

Players talk to journalists. Also from the tone of the player interviews I thin it pretty obvious there is something wrong, whether they are valid complaints is another issue!

Unfortunately it is now ever so slowing turning to farce.

England draws twice, and there's already talk of the manager quitting. It's well and truly pathetic. The team is about as fragile as a papier mache wrecking ball. God forbid you actually lose a match, I bet you England lot would kill yourselves in a haze of desperate confusion and self-entitlement!

It is the manner of the draws what is the issue, if England had pummelled the opposition but the keepers had the best games of their lives nobody would be unhappy, the problem is they has just looked so woefully inept.

which team do you support?

We are poor. There is something wrong but all said and done we are an average team when it comes to the crunch. We are the Arsenal of world football, beat up on the little guys and as soon as we play either a decent team or there is some pressure we crumble.

Could go on but cant be bothered, hoping we go out now so I can just enjoy the rest of the cup without the stress of waiting for England to et inevitabily knocked out

The England team visited an orphanage in Cape Town today. "It's heartbreaking to see their sad little faces with no hope" said Jamal aged 6.
