***L4D2 8v8 Insanity Versus Now Up Again At Last***

The dedi seems to have gone down/been hacked/Or something...typical timing tbh. May have to arrange for another night...

Can't login to it, however if ur on my list and you feel like a bit of Insanity Versus 4v4 (uses seperate server) then let me know :(
 
The dedi is back up and running and I believe Link has done a load of work to get the server configs restored.

We're running a completely new OS install on the dedi so as you can imagine it took some time to sort everything out.
 
The server is running, but is currently a standard server. I can have a look at sorting it out though if people wanna play on it this evening...

EDIT: Uploading files now. Hopefully it should still work as I remember I had to update sourcemod recently to get it fully working, will see if I updated it in the backup or not.

2nd EDIT: Please note that OcUK 5 now has some custom maps installed too, and tho they aren't in the automatic cycle yet they may be added in the future.

Ah, getting those custom maps. Even if I have them already, I haven't updated in a while.

Keep us updated, like you do :)
 
Please note that there are issues with the server atm. I will post up an announcement on steam and in this thread when it is sorted. Until then, please don't join the server expecting it to work, the game currently seems to ctd when it finishes loading.

Working on it now...
 
Just played a game of the standard game, i really hate l4d without insanity mod now, it's so so so so so so boring, slow and 100s of kits spoil it. If link can't get the server working give me a message if anyones playing 4v4 insanity at any point tonight :)
 
Well both games of Insanity (4v4 sadly) were fun tonight, will try and sort out the 8v8 tomorrow, next attmept at a schedules 8v8 = next sunday (not this one, im away). Should have it fixed by then.
 
Aye the games were good fun :) Played a game straight after and the Insanity mod makes it just so much better!
Anyone up for another game next monday/tuesday? I'll be away for 2 months from the 1st.. No gaming for 2 months.. Ahh! Lol.

i'll end up being in the same situation soon, no gaming for a few months, except not because im away but because i'll be preoccupied with a baby :D
