Bloody hell Apple are trying to give me a heart attack! Checked my order earlier, nothing changed. Checked it just now and I get a big red warning saying my orders requires urgent attention!! Click the link and it says I need to enter payment details as there is a problem. I hit the button to try again with the stored details and it says no. So I re-enter my credit card info and it then says thank you for changing your payment details.

Seriously, if I was unable to check my account till tonight I'd have never known. No idea why i have to re-enter the exact same details that are already stored!! Better chance to 'preparing to ship' before the close of play tonight!! lol

On a side note:

Went in to one of my local O2 stores just now to get a sim. The guy in front of me had an emails from Apple but it was one that had a picture of the phone on it, rather than the 'order confirmed' one I had (which also shows you paid, and the amount the order was for etc) so they were refusing to give him a micro sim as they have apparently been instructed to only issue sims to customers with the correct email print out. He wasn't best pleased but I got my sim so I'm alright lol
EDIT: The guy serving me had no idea if I could use the micro sim with my old phone, saying 'we've had no training at all'. Then his eyes also bulged when he saw how much I had paid for a sim free 32gb phone lol

On another side note.

I have an old Nokia at the mo. So do I just back my contacts to the phone from the old sim, then activate the new sim and then copy contacts back to new sim from old phone?

The it's just a case of deciding what new tariff I want, then call O2 and ask them to move me to that one?
 
Me too. The 24 New Street in Brum is open at 8:02. Though last time I missed a phone by one place for the 2G launch, and had to toddle into the centre for the later opening O2 in there which still had them.

02 Recycle Prices have been 150 148 140.50 and now back to 155 today. If you have been holding off recycling till after you have a new iPhone. It might be worth locking in that 155 with a recycle chit today =)
 
I had the printout with the phone picture on it and they gave me a micro Sim.

Now Applecare ? anyone going for it ?

Ive had my 3g 16gb since launch and not had any probs with it.

I think im going to go for a 24 month contract to keep monthly outgoings down as i cannot see myself getting a new phone in 2 years time as i have been very pleased with my 3g. I am however worried about it dieing 13 months after i get it and being up the creek without a paddle.

Its £60 so i read anyone else thinking of going for it ?

Same as you - going for a 24 month contract as I won't be getting the next one, presumably next year, so may as well skip one altogether. Will probably get Applecare at some point. For £60 it's worth it imo.
