*** The all new iPhone 4 thread - Keep all iPhone 4 stuff in here ***

Whoo my orders been shipped :) will be arriving between 9 and 5 tomorrow apparently according to the email. Beats waiting in queues lol

loads new multi-tasking, spellcheck, improves battery, threads emails together, joins multiple email accounts into same inbox, can search messages now, folders, have multiple background screens without having winterboard anymore which will save a lot of memory

My mate has just put that on Facebook, after this comment.

Oooooh Yeah Jailbroken iOS4 on my Iphone 3g with Multi-tasking!

What a second, I had all of that on my Omnia!

Infact am sure my N95 could do most, if not all of that too!

Heads up guys:

Already 4 people outside the store on Regent Street!!! :D

very crazy if true

urgh all this talk of getting there super early just to queue sucks :( maybe I will get there a bit earlier now.

For those using the MK 02 shops.... which one are you planning to use ? that way I can use the oposite one to you lot :p

I've been away on holiday for the last week so I've missed 50 pages of discussion. I haven't pre-ordered mine so what's my best option for getting my hands on one tomorrow? (I'm an existing O2 customer, had an 18 month 3G contract and now have a Simplicity contract).

Who's offering the best tariffs? (I'm swaying towards Vodafone I think)

Thanks :)

I wonder if the queue at the Birmingham Bullring will start stupidly early too. If that's the case then I pick up my reservation later during the day when I'm back from Cardiff instead of in the morning. Or if any phone shops have some in Cardiff Central I snap one up from there.

At 3G launch there were queues at both Bullring and New Street stores from very early. I decided not to queue and instead went to the O2 shop at the Fort, walked straight in at ~11:30am and got a 16Gb one no hassle!! Might be worth checking there?

It's totally personal preference - which is why I'm ignoring reviews and drawing conclusions on my own.
That's the problem a lot of people have with the iPhone 4 there, sure it has a bunch of improved stuff over the 3GS but OS wise it still looks exactly the same and works the same. Some people don't want a screen that looks like it did in 2007.

I said it in another thread, those who are not already smitten by the iPhone see little to get excited about as it's mostly playing catch-up with the android devices most people have been buying this past year.

I've got a spare 3GS powersupoort anti glare left, so am going to cut it up and put it on tempoarily till more cases etc appear.
