My friend clames he got a call from CPW but as he dosnt have the money isnt getting the phone yet

not sure if its true or not but i still havent had a call :-(

Thats fine, remember, networks, especially in the case of Vodafone have 'Inbound' and 'Outbound' teams in telesales. When you phone up asking for it, you're contacting 'Inbound', who I guess have been told to only let people order tomorrow.

Don't worry, they are working their way though it seems, I heard they will be phoning up until 8pm this evening for deliveries tomorrow.
 
Just spoken to somebody at the Watford Vodafone store and apparently all their handsets are taken by "pre-orders". What a joke!
 
i forgot about phones4u just registered with them now

i think as all my local shops are in a precinct i will start at orange, then phones4u, then CPW and hope one of them has an iPhone for me

if not i might look at tesco on the way home

or a 18 mile drive to where i work as there is a small CPW there this might be a little crazy but i want one
 
I just got an email from Orange regarding the new iPhone4. Gave them a quick call and they said I could order one today and I should get it tomorrow, if not "in a couple of days".

Might help anyone if they wanted an iPhone through Orange.

No idea, but mine has started as I'm an existing contract customer. I finished my 18 month original contract at the start of the year. I then switched to the 1 month rolling simplicity contract until the iPhone4 was announced and the new revised tariffs and made my decision.

The new O2 iPhone Tariffs with limited data go live tomorrow. Taking out my contract today means I have unlimited data until I decide to change my tariff, once my 12 month contract expires it reverts to a 1 month rolling contract still with unlimited data.

I just need to sort out a micro sim, I was hoping that O2 would send me one out but I can easily pick one up from my local O2 store.

Even though ive had the phone call at 3pm today and had all the emails confirming my order is in progress by 3:02pm. I dont think they will be dispatched today for delivery tomorrow :(.

Still just says "in progress" though and surely DHL dont pick things up after 5pm do they?
 
Will the Tesco iPhones be carrier locked so to speak on Tesco, or being that they use the o2 network locked to o2?
