Just checked the signal thing with my 3GS running ios4. Sure enough, it drops from 5 bars to 1 when I hold it tight.
Os issue definitely.

I just did the same with my 3GS... 4 bars dropped slowly to "Searching...". It's got to be related to the new software for sure.

O2 in farnborough got here at 6:40 I'm 39th in queue

Currently sat outside the Orange Overgate store in Dundee, been here since about 5:10am. Determined to get my hands on the only 32GB they have!

How many people are there? do you know if they will be selling 16GB as PAYG?

I'm torn between trying Orange for a PAYG and trekking to Tesco Extra on Kingsway.

When I walked to new street station at 6 this morning there were about 30 people outside the o2 store. Think the few at the front must have been out all night as they had blankets and stuff. Worst economic crisis in 100 years and people are queuing to hand over their cash, amazing.

Oh man. Good luck, I'm going to shower and then head on down. Might check out Murraygate as they open at 8?

Maybe see you at Overgate , look out for a brown guy with ridiculously yellow headphones.
