I'm probably going to get one on Orange, once they are back in stock and the problems have been sorted out

Only problem I had was the orange computer crawled to a halt cuz everyone was buying the iphone 4 , im keeping eye on news, however I cant reproduce any of the problems people are having, think im lucky

Mine didn't work the first time either, it turns out I didn't cut the simcard in the correct place and the contacts didn't line up. From that image, it looks like you've done the same.

It looks a bit drastic cutting through what appears to be part of the sim, but I figured my sim was useless anyway and tried it. It worked.

Your sim ends up as a micro-micro sim, but so far despite being slightly loose in the holder its working perfectly.

I wish I talked to you before cutting around the golden bits! I cut my sim to the exact same way as shown in those pics and it works woohoo thank you! Shame it's being held by celotape now rather than my precision cutting first time.

TO those that said if you try the Antenna thing with a 3GS on iOS4 and it lost the signal, how or what way did you hold the phone to try and simulate the problem on that model...the antenna is not exposed so just wondering.

So off back to the store for a refund it goes. Will probably leave it till weekend though.

Don't forget to opt-out of the iAds data gathering.

It was snuck in, as part of the iTunes 9.2 & iOS4 updates.. you have to visit http://oo.apple.com on a device running iOS 4 for it to register.

I think I accidently "opt'ed-in" - when I brought an app the other day I had to accept the new terms of service - I accepted - does this mean I'm being "data gathered"?

Everyone who accepted the new terms and conditions of the latest iTunes update has opted-in to the data gathering. That's the point.

You need to tell them specifically, if you don't want to be sending them data.
