ok...
so i need an ethernet cable long enough to reach downstairs..
it goes...out of my round...down the stairs ...through another room (downstairs) and to the router.
i searched around and found on OCers:
Belkin Cat5e Network Patch Cable 30m (A3L791B30M-S) [A3L791B30M-S]
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CB-197-BE&groupid=46&catid=1799&subcat=
now...is that really 30 metres and at that price?
because ive also searched around a competitor ....and found that even a belkin 10m ethernet cable is £30..
anyone tell me why?

. Can get the crimping tools for about £10-15 and over time it pays back for itself. This is how oc can sell the cables so cheap. They are still selling at about double the materials cost. Makes you see what a rip off some places are.
