If you where a millionaire , where would you live?

I would have homes in more than one country.
A sprawling property in the Welsh borders.
An apartment off the Kurfurstendam in Berlin.
A house in the South of France.

Some of the places mentioned here are more than a million. And the majority under would easily see you go close to broke once you've settled in. With a million I couldn't see myself affording to go overboard and still living a life of luxury.

I don't think I'd move. I like where I am now.

I'd certainly not buy one of these "big" houses. I'd not have a use for most of the rooms and I'd have to get people in to clean it etc.

Geez, and people complain about immigration to the UK, almost no one has stated England as their first choice :(

Why would we want to?!

New South Wales or California for me, I think. Easy to get residency with large amounts of cash as you can start a business employing local people :)

Canada or NZ, not to densely populated area. A lake nearby preferably the view from my large glass front living room, a work shop the size of my current home on my several acres of land and a golf course not to far away.

As it is ill just settle for my 2 bed semi overlooking the town moor

Cheeky mansion in Brisbane somewhere. Oh and a flat in Paris, gorgeous city (even if it is full of the french :p )

Nice house in Cornwall, saw one can't remember where, must have been near st austell, it was like a big estuary/harbour type place surrounded by trees, it was amazing and there was a big secluded house over-looking it all, wherever it was I'd find it again and live there :)

if i was a millionaire, i would be on a plane to NZ within the hour.

wouldn't be able to choose between the north or south tho, so prob get a place in each

Cali for me, if talking tens of millions. Nice place Newport beach (CA) area, on one of the artificial waterways with the motorised gin palace moored at the bottom of the garden, with quick access to the pacific.
