If you where a millionaire , where would you live?

I would stay withing 10 mile of where I am living now, close enough to work that it takes me 20 minutes to drive and 30 minutes minutes from Keswick and the lakes.

I'd buy a place in Brighton, a place in the Peaks to be nearer to home, and then an awesome cabin of some sort out in New Zealand. Back in reality I'll be happy to have managed to 'buy' a place in 5 years time :(

Probably stay in England in a really nice house in the country, get a apartment in a good area of London, get an apartment in all the major cities around the world, and maybe a place near the Mediterranean, probably France or Italy (or both?)

If i was staying England i'd buy a place down the road from me in Alderley Edge / Wilmslow, but odds are i'd get out the country and move to America, I'd buy some holiday homes in Florida to rent out (100k each) and then spend 300k on a bigger house for myself, this would leave me with 400k - 500k to play with plus the income from the holiday homes.

I'd either build a house in Cambridgeshire or buy somewhere in Cuffley in Hertfordshire, then build a chalet in the French Alps, as well as a place in Cali for a blast.

Getting there... as in I have the motivation :P now for the houses.

Tough one - part of me would want a big estate in North Yorkshire, with enough hills to make a mountain bike track on for the summer and build a snowpark on for the winter (given enough snow, obviously)

Another part would want the same but in the highlands - far enough away from prying eyes etc. but only a couple of hours (by a DB9, naturally) from a big airport to get to my other properties.

And another part would just want a big chalet in Switzerland, good enough Internet connection to work from home, skiing to & from the doorstep every day etc.

Oh and with all the above I'd also have an apartment in Adenau with a properly done out garage, housing my latest weapon of choice for the Nurburgring :D
