It will probably be the case that the stock that is trickling through now, disappears as soon as it appears. Ring the store and find out when their next stock is due. Its the only way to know for definate.
 
Well im back in the uK on the 9th for 2 weeks I hope I can get my hands on one then. What do you reckon the odds on the hype dieing down by then are
 
I'm still waiting on mine from Orange. Ordered it on Thursday morning and still haven't received any information on when it might be coming. Wish I had gone to the Apple store to collect now :P
 
Seriously tempted to put mine on eBay now seeing some of the prices go for these things! Does anyone know what the lead/ delivery time is if i order from the apple store again?

It was three weeks as of yesterday, but may be more now :(
 
Lol, not sure it's enough profit by the time eBay take a chunk and having to use my old mobile for a month lol!

Thinking about it tho, would they still in such short demand then? That sticking my name for another it would still be profitable to sell?

Yeah would do, except I don't like carrying around two devices and looking like a right old mug :p

Don't get me wrong I like the BB for what it is and that bloomin red led is something I will undoubtedly miss. I just wish RIM would get off their backside and do something new with the OS and open it up more (yes I know os6 is round the corner with the new web browser etc but it looks like the same thing in a different skin).

LOL yeh i know what you mean...i had the HTC Desire up until a week ago...got it about a month ago from tmobile and yeh it was great but just couldnt leave my BB as hard as i tried...even set up my emails on the Desire but after about 3 days i went back to my BB...same thing last yr when i bought the HTC Magic...sold it after about a week lol.

I'll probably do the same with the iphone4 tbh...although by end of july ill have 2...one sim free from apple and one from tmobile as my upgrade is due end of july...so ill sell one or might end up selling both in the end.

One thing is for 110% certain..no matter what i cant give up my BB even though compared to the iphone, it has nothing on it really...cant wait for OS6...my brother in Canada works closely with RIM and has had a very extensive play with OS6 and says its very very nice...definitely a step up for RIM and the web browser is super fast...faster than the iphone web browser when tested between the 2 platforms....hopefully hes bring the 9800 slider with him when he comes in a few weeks time to visit so looking forward to playing around with that as that will have OS6 on it...its a dev device though.

Wouldnt hurt to try but then Ebay is notorious for scammers so be aware of that.

I ordered last week...fri nite and was told it will be with me july 20th...that was through the apple store.

Nope, i gave up and ordered one instead. I talked the talk and pretended i was left handed, etc and they still wouldn't give in lol. It's a bit of a non-issue for me anyways as i haven't experienced any issues with the way I personally hold it. Also i was planning on buying a bumper anyway, but having a go at getting it for free and exploiting this antenna 'issue' everyones talking about is always worth a try.

Have a go anyway and see :) I so far only know of one person on here that has managed to get one for free.
