Another very happy 5770 Crossfire user here, and coincidentally my two cards cost exactly the same as yours did.

When you consider what specs. you are getting for your money, it's pretty much a no brainer.
A question from me to throw into the mix; how well does Xfire 5770 scale in terms of performance?

I think the 128-bit bus only starts to cause issues at resolutions above 1080p, so for most people it is a non-issue. Trifire is also intriguing, but I don't think the heat from 3 cards justifies it against a single 5870.
