Yes. UFO defence and Terror from the Deep are outstanding, or they were at release. The graphics are really dated now - but maybe not so bad if you play them in a window.

How is Arma 2 nowadays? Played it when it came out and it was just horribly buggy and ran like mud.

Commandos is a bargain. Behind Enemy Lines and Beyond The Call Of Duty will really test your strategic thinking and planning, and Men Of Courage is just the bomb (I bought it just after I broke my arm when it came out, kept me going until the cast came off). The 3rd installment is a joke however.

Osmos is a great game for a couple of quid and TF2 is a must buy for a fiver
 
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu i max the limit of my ISP, and now im at 2mb download and 1mb upload (from 30down and 2up) this sucks SO MUCH, will i be able to play online games LOL ? will i feel too much difference ? i havent that kind of download speed since like 6 or so years ago lol
 
hahaha! I'm the same, just added another sweet a$$ 7GB download to the list (Arma 2 OA) going pretty good right now but that's now well over 30GB I have downloaded in 3-4 days of Steam bargains, my speed is definately dropping, think I've been throttled down a bit :D

Yes I have a thing for FPS games lol. Started with jerico and its pretty average but for £1.49 I can't complain to be fair lol. Not got round to the others yet due to still downloading them. Jerico is a pretty dodgy console port in the way it plays but looks respectible with simple controls. Only annoying thing so far is the fact theres no health and ammo as your teammates just cast a spell on you to replenish it lol. Not bad though, just average

Will give a verdict on the others when I've played them.

Cryostasis looks like "The Thing" on a boat in the artic so has potential!

My ISP allows for unlimited downloads after midnight. If your ISP does that, do what I do - when I'm getting close to my cap, I stop Steam downloading, and start it up again at midnight.
 
Im gutted, went round the gf's last night and normally check steam off her netbook for the new deals after work but i forgot and now looking at them this morning.

I really wanted arma 2 and gta 4 plus the commandos is a bonus but i wont get home from work till after 6 whenit will be too late :(

Couldn't you get a friend (Or even your girlfriend) to buy it and then gift it to your account?
