I don't know what prompted me to post this thread, maybe it's the local traffic light GP with Corsas and Fiestas bouncing off rev limit in wait for the green light. Witnessed a ST220 doing the same yesterday, but why ?
Maybe they are under the illusion their car is 'fast' ?, or maybe it feels fast to them. I guess it's all relative, X car is slow compared with Y car but still very fast compared with Z. Are they trying to prove they are indeed fast ?
So the point of this thread, do you consider your car / or bike genuinely FAST ?, how should 'fast' be measured.
Should be interesting to see what everyones perceptions are...
Me, well, my bike i consider classed as 'fast', 0-175mph in around 13-14 secs I guess. She's no rocket ship by todays standards but still gets the adrenelin flowing (and the G forces make my watch run slow after a long ride).
If asked by a stranger 'is it fast?', I reply yes, it scares me stupid.
