The music alone is worth a fiver. It's a cracking little game. I'm talking about Rearmed, I've no idea about the "next gen" release. But I've heard some people thought the less than spectacular reviews were overly harsh.

It is - I prefer it sp so you can pick all the loot yourself instead of some skanks running off with the best stuff even though they can't use it.

So, Borderlands does have a single player mode yeah?
Most of Borderlands is single player as far as I'm aware.

Yeah Borderlands has single player. I am pretty sure its the same game but u can just run around in a 4 player co-op game. Personally i really enjoyed the single player and the style of the game I don't think you can go wrong with a fiver.

I was under the impression, that most of it was online multiplayer. Maybe that's just me.
No it's one scenario played by 1-4 players. As mentioned above, you can join someone else's game, they can join yours, etc. Or not if you don't allow it.

Ah ok cool. It's almost a bit like Left 4 Dead then?
Fancied some strategy so I bought Empire at War Gold! 
Used to have it but sold it on, fancy giving it a bash, and at that price can't really turn it down.
Was on the fence over Borderlands, but just doesn't look like the kind of game I'd sit and complete, much like Crysis or FarCry 2.

Is it a C & C type base builder, resource harvester type game?
Borderlands is really really good, I played it through twice as two characters. Its just fun to pick up and blast people. I would really reccomend this game to anyone. If you can play it coop with a friend its amazing (so long as you have voice chat) i wouldnt play it with a random
You don't harvest resources, they collect themselves over time iirc. It's a good game, well worth the offer it's on atm. The space gameplay is immense.
