Vtec Hondas.... is there much difference?

well theres these two,

the first youtube clip above had the later cl7 in it

Did we get a Euro-R or equivalent over here? I have not seen any imports, but against most imported cars it is not that special? If we did get a K20 Accord the video show it has some good potential. I did not realise the newer Integra and Civic were not double wishbone like all the older cars!

no. hot accord euro r in japan only.

apart from the accord type r sold in the uk, there is the mild type s(on current model, diesel, and previous, petrol)

4th Gen ludes are easy to find. What you want is the BB4. That is going to be harder to find especially if you want one that hasn't had at best someone elses choice of mods on it and at worst had an abomination of cheap tat thrown at it.

Mine is a BB4 and I've owned it for 8 years and in all honesty I really don't want to have to sell it anytime soon (though after a while you have to be realistic about maintenance costs). It's relatively economical when you take it easy but is quick enough when you want it to be. The only mods I have on mine are that I swapped the alloys (still have the originals) and changed to a ss exhaust when the one that came on it needed replaced. A nice note is that despite the horrific winter we just had with deep snow and a scary ice rink of a car park I always made it in to work even when others didn't (though for some that may be a downside ;) ).

Rember about 9 years ago the last model of prelude, the 2.0 was been sold for £10k brand new. Should have bought one but no cash at the time.

tbf when i was looking to get a 'fast' car nothing came close to the DC5 out of the stuff i looked at (ep3 possibly the closest), after having the teg for a while anything else i've driven now feels a bit like its made of sponge, nothing's come close in terms of feel and involvement.

oh yeah and some shameless DC5 pimpage

Haha yeah, ive not driven an DC2 but i would love to try one. If im ever forced to get a cheaper car i think that'd be the only one id consider.

And yeah thats mine on the way back from the ring

I love the blue, it's a great colour - better than beige. Also am I alone in pre-facelift > facelift? :o

Nope. Pre-facelift is a lot prettier.

Blue seats on the blue is awesome, but I still think championship white is the right colour for an R.

I've never liked white cars really, plus they must be a bit of a pain to keep clean i always thought.

I had the choice of either a facelift or prefacelift as i bought a 2004 model and you can see my decision and im sticking by it!

I do have a fair few mods to mine so that probably does tighten up the handling somewhat over stock.
