Ahh my bad. I should have said "lots of co2 watts, or a Yag.

I shall try and get some videos of a laser focusing in the air. Its literally burns through it (ionisation actually) but that noise is pretty scary.

Well most airsoft guns are imitation firearms, it's only the clear or brightly coloured ones that can be bought freely.Having read that (albeit a bit briefly), it seems more aimed at selling imitation firearms, but mentions defending the sale of Airsoft guns?
Doesn't seem to be any issues ordering one online though, unless they are under this exemption? Or will they all be bright orange or something? )
Not legally necessary to be registered, just makes it a lot easier to prove you play at a site with the correct insurance but I realise no decent airsoft site will sell to people without membership. The VCR bill made it necessary to be a registered member of an airsoft site (and participate in games) in order to buy realistic airsoft guns.
What power lasers are used for events such as Qlimax? I have an HD video of Qlimax 2008 and the lasers are damned bright. If they are such high powered then does it mean people could get skin cancer from them at such events?
Can you buy attachments for laser pointers that split the beam up, spread it flat, patterns etc?

Always wondered that. Like they say lasers will blind etc etc as well. But in that picture the lasers are also on everyone there. So how does that work out :S? As they must also be quite powerful lasers? What power lasers are used for events such as Qlimax? I have an HD video of Qlimax 2008 and the lasers are damned bright. And video link?
Seen every damn oneGoogle for qlimax 2008 bluray. Not too hard to find![]()
surely without any glasses just looking at it would hurt your eyes like hell :S?
Take it into the house of mirrors for mega lolz.![]()
Just from seeing the 'dot' at the end of the beam?It would blind you.
1W CW is very modest for a laser tbh. I guess its not bad for a portable one though. The laser cutter in the other thread is 40W which is serious power.
I should point out (as a laser guy) that google don't protect against direct exposure to the beam, just scatter. At 1W, there will be serious damage even if you are wearing googles.
