O2 Simplicity £15 a month smartphone deal + £100 Cashback

hmmi dunno weather to go from pay and go ( with internet bolton) to contract as I get board after about a year or so...more like a phone comes out which suits my needs better

Ordered last night. Hope it gets tracked within a few days, it's my first time using Quidco (though I have been signed up for years with it!).

Thanks again for the heads up!

you'd be lucky, unless you get a sims free desire than you might with this... but that would kill the idea of contact I throught as you have to pay a lot for the phone

all the desires on O2 seems to be 30+ and than the £30 onces don't seem to have internet ... >.<

Update from quidco rep:

" If you buy a £15 smart phone tariff- the checkout will split it as £10 and £5 add-on but this will not affect cashback. I hope this answers your query. "

I ordered this tariff, however my cashback has started being tracked this morning as "expected £25 cashback".

What gives?

Damm it, mine is still not being tracked guess I am going to have to get in touch with them. :(

Just ordered this... I'm on O2 already so do I really have to cancel my current deal and get a PAC code etc? Or will they just transfer it straight across onto the new SIM?

The thing is you need an active number to use a PAC as far as I know.

I'd try ringing o2 and explaining you've seen this cashback deal and want to get it and will cancel your contract if needed. You'd hope o2 would be sensible and just give you £100 credit on your account or something rather than faff around. There's £90 cashback or so on a similar deal with Vodafone (the £10 SIM + £5 internet) so you could try saying if they mess you around and you have to cancel and reapply you might just go with Vodafone instead.

If I do have to mess around with the PAC code then I can just activate the new SIM and change over ASAP I assume. Could put it in my old phone so when it's crossing over I'll see it happen and won't have any down time. Does that sound right? If I remember rightly from when I changed from Orange to O2.. the old SIM won't deactivate until I actually use the PAC?

how long did it take for people to get there simcards, i ordered mine through quidco on wednesday and still not had it today. although I can login to o2 and see my bill etc.
mine sais tracked at £25.

Did you guys who's has tracked do the £15 for smart phones or the £15 iphone tariff? To get it to track, you don't have to activate the sim do you? It just tracks by itself? I just don't want to start using it till it tracks. Also, did you sign up as a new customer or did you already have an O2 account? I'm wondering if this is why mine did not work as I was already a customer with an account and during the checkout process I just signed in.
Getting hacked off with this. What a farse.

And you do NOT require an iphone for this right? Confirm someone? I am still a bit confused as to the difference between iphone £15 per month, and simplicity for smart phones £15 per month.
Cheers

basically there the same tariff.
just the iphone tariff has visual voicemail included which only the iphone has.
you will require an iphone for the tariff to work though, as it will only work over activation on itunes.

so if my friend brought the Iphone sim for her Nokia N95 she can still use it but obviously no visual voicemail and when see gets her phone from the apple store, she can just put he sim in the Iphone and activate it via itunes?
