Will be having another crack at it in a car I own again in April.
Always find myself taking it easy when it's someone else's car. :o

Feel like adding some results with my completely un-modded 205.

Seeing as I haven't passed my test yet, and there's not a track near me (just have to get on the A12 at 2am I suppose), it won't be for a while yet :(
 
I recorded this last night, although i'm off to York Dragway over the bank holiday an i'm hoping to just nip into the 13s.

I did go to York yesterday, unfortunately the weather wasn't as good as i'd hoped, so i only managed a 14.2 in the damp. I'll be back again to try in the dry next month.

I can work out 0-60 from ECU supplied data logging - it'll be more accurate than these g-meter things, is this acceptable? :D

If so, I'll give it a go when I get the car back :)

Ecu based calcs will use the vehicle speed sensor so I'm inclined to suggest that it's no more accurate than g meter, possibly worse.
 
Speed can be easily "calibrated*" against GPS.

*By calibrated, I mean I can easily figure out what the vehicle speed is reading when doing a true GPS 60MPH.
 
Which model G-Meter have people been using? I just bought an old G-Meter Pro on impulse and am sort of wondering if it'll actually be any good? The new ones look so much more advanced.

All I want is something that can help me benchmark/test/assess the mods I plan on doing...
