Manhunt in Northumbria on BBC

Crazy emotional woman on BBC lol...dear god woman get a grip your mother is perfectly fine FFS:rolleyes:

This is great.

got it live on the news, and using street view to walk and the area its all kicking off, to get an idea of what they are describing.

Dont know if this has been mentioned by someone else, but I've just worked out the position of the police/moat on google maps:

55.309489,-1.906439

It's insane these days how close you can get to the action

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but Radio 5 Live, 705 on Freeview, are talking to some residents of Rothbury who live about 100 yards away from where this is all happening at the moment. They can see everything! :)

So? He can kill himself if he wants.. he killed others.. held a risk for days..
he's just going to be sitting in jail for the rest of his live *well sorta*.. making people pay money to keep him there!

If you taser him, an involuntary spasm could kill him while there is no immediate threat to life of police officers at the scene.

That involunatry spasm could be a discharge at police officers as well.

WTF are they negotiating for? Just taser him already and be done with it, god damn it.

Thankfully our police and legal system is betetr than that, while there is little risk to anyone, there is no need to show force and negotiations can carry on.

why do people want to shoot someone or tazer someone, who is pinned down and no threat apart to himself, but less of a threat than shooting or tazering someone.,

Time to send in

rofl, saying why they dont have a sky copter over head, the reason is it would be bad viewing seeing someone blow there brains out live, not because it would agitate him as a police copter is over head anyway, how stupid can you get for a news reporter.
