thats a very good point actually. i have not even tried. mainly as my mac mail app only has 2 accounts in so i just have the phone sync with them the same as the mac does

So I take it there is a mail icon on the phone other than the G-mail one advertised? Have you found any negatives with the phone?

oh god i read your post as x10 wooops

the mini will have the same mail apps and same syncing with google which you can sync with mac though.
there will be a standard mail app built in and then the gmail one. there will also be many mail apps on the market for download

id tell you to try the mini in a shop though! its tiny. really tiny

I have tiny hands and I really don't like big phones why this one interested me. I just don't know a lot about smart phones, I just want internet, email and calls in a neat little package. :D

Something like this?
batteryy.png

Nice, ill check that out thanks :)

After about a weeks usage, I'm still getting losses of up to 4% per hour with 3g mode enabled. This is with the UK 20 firmware

sid

Thats around what i get mate, sometimes 2 to 3 hours per 10% drop.

I left it on flight mode one night and checking the phone in the morning revealed that it didnt drop any charge. It remained at 63% battery for 6 hours:confused:

No idea how or why that happens, i would've thought it would lose a few percent but not nothing.

Is the phone sleeping correctly?

How do you know if it is? I just have it set to 30 seconds then it switches display off. If thats it sleeping then yea its fine ;)

I have a few widgets on my screen which could be causing the battery drain which i dont mind. Im not away from a socket for more than 24 hours anyway lol

4% an hour is still 25 hours which is very good battery length for a smartphone in full 3g mode for all that time

Mines dropping around 2% in every 6/8 hours with all the default settings on :D

I even have fancy widget updating every 2 hours and my ISP email checking every hour.

I am also currently on 4 days since I last charged my X10 mini :D

Id recommend trailing the Generic Nordic firmware as I am seeing brilliant battery life now.

Settings > About Phone > Battery Use.

Mines currently:

1D 2H 20M 11s since unplugged and I still have 50% battery left

Cell standby 33%
Display 27%
Phone idle 24%
Voice calls 13%
Android System 2%

That is pretty awesome, but i dont get how there would be such a big difference. Surely it should be the same update for all?

Im trying to take screenshots but failing bad... lol

Im following that guide but when i run the .bat file nothing happens, any idea?

Edit--
Any Task managers worth getting? Or do they just drain more resources than its worth?
