I'm seriously contemplating going back to Aion for a bit. People whine that its a grindy game but so what, I used to play RF online and it was a complete grind yet the atmosphere and my guild more than made up for it. Plus ofcourse there's the fact that they did RvR the right way, and by that I mean having 3 factions not just 2.
 
also, if you're interested in Darkfall, I'm trying to start making quick video's.

here's one of me failing at a duel due to me only just switching to archery from magic.

Dodge the shots of my opponents arrows, it depends on your playstyle. I've overused twitch shots their and twitch shooting isn't good vs mahirim since they have a faster strafe speed.

Tbh, I'm more interested in 2.0 not that they've increased the lvl cap more just the tweaks and things they've added like ground abyss.
Once my veteran free trail offer on AoC runs out I'll probably re-sub Aion for a month to see how things are.

I'm kinda waiting on Tera Online, as my next MMO and I don't care if it is another Korean style MMO with grinding in it as I just like the style and atmosphere better. And the communities in those games tends to be very very good once the WoW lovers leave after the first month.
 
Think i may give LOTRO a try when its free.Is it a game i can play for just a few hours a week or do i need to grind for a few hours a night?

It's a lot more casual than many mmos , I would say you could play it a few hours a week if you so desired.

Yeah, in a clan org called First Light have a level 220 MP called Kristjan, leveling a bureaucrat now level 155 something with a few friends, Krisacrat. Why does your name sound familiar, do you also have an MP?

I hate shadowlands with a passion, but can't avoid it eventually but we love to do missions on RK, you'll find us doing some around broken shores 5pm+ some nights, so add me if you have chars in range.
My two friends are playing an Engineer and Fixer :)

Darkfall is one of the most disappointing games of recent times. The world is so empty, there are no animals and very few mobs. As a UO fanboi I tried really hard to like it but it fails... hard.

Mortal Online is much better than Darkfall already despite all its bugs.

What's the veteran free trial? Is that where they let you play the new expansion free for a bit? Might have to check through my emails if that's the case. Just created a basic trial account recently to pass the time.
