Didn't see a thread on this. Sorry if there is. Anyone going to RIAT this year? Taking the gf. She's not been before and I haven't been for a good few years. What days are people going, looking foward to anything in particular?

Going both days. Lucky as gf is bigger plane nut than me, and she's a card carrying member of the Red Arrows fan club.

Going down tomorrow, pitch up tent, amble down to hang round by the fence. Then the show on both days, then watch them all leave on Monday. Can't wait.

To whet your appetite, the F22 taking off in practice today.

They do requested flypasts, so it could be for anything.

I'm going... I was due to go in '08 when it was cancelled due to the poor weather, so I hope there won't be a repeat performance. Weather's looking pretty good at the moment however.

Shame there's no B-1B this year.

I think the red's done a fly by for rolls royce / BAE.

p&v day tickets are available at the gate but not sat/sun show days.

I'm driving down to fairford early sat morning, camping at Kempsford, going into show on sunday and p&v on the monday then home, can't wait, going to be ace. Just hope the weather gets better.

Anyone else camping at kempsford?

There's still tickets available, probly can be got from local towns etc, tourist info maybe.
