technically the romans killed jesus, but the jews were backing the romans. so therefore i blame the jews.
Cant you just talk about the universe or the source of all creation while high rather some semi fictional character?![]()
Oh my god (No pun intended)
Jesus was Jewish. He was betrayed by one of his followers (Judas). The Roman army then crucified him. Christianity didn't exist for a few hundred years after that.
EDIT: there is a very VERY simple way to end the argument between you and your friends: just get a bible and read it!!
[..]
There is historical evidence that a man named Jesus lived, that cannot be questioned. You choose to accept his divinity or not.
Jeshua was Aramean from Galilee, born from parents of Nazarene descent. For the purpose of social profile, popular belief that he was de facto Jewish is about as precise as most Americans presuming Bono is British. Geographically or geopolitically, he was about as Jewish as Sean Connery is English and in terms of language and communication background, his assumed ethnic accent would be to Hebrew, what Fabio Capello does is to Queen's English.
He was killed by Jews.
Not that we actually have a proper proof for any of the above, beyond few stories by his mates.
"who killed Jesus"
simples.......no one, as he never existed in the first place.

You seem to be mistaking Jesus and God.
This is like asking if Mickey Mouse shops at ASDA or Sainsburys.
Neither, he shops at Tesco. Everyone knows that.![]()
Aids killed Jesus.
All he talks about in the Bible are his 12 disciples (sp?). No mention of a woman in his life.
He spent most of his life with a penis up both ends tbh.
That is assuming he wasn't fictional of course.
To be honest I think the more worrying thing is that the OP working out what AD and BC mean and working out who killed Jesus is what is considered "deep".
The Jews wanted Jesus dead, so they got the Romans to do it.
Just like today, the Jews want the Muslims dead, so they're getting the Christians (US, UK) to do it.
