You'll never hear the last of this come November :D:p

:(

oh and obligatory hard done by story

In DTD cash game last night , sat with KJ , flop JJ6 , he bets I raise ( 2 suits ) , he pushes

what can I do ?

I call

he shows J6

he sat there for 10 minutes apologising and explaining, like I care

10 mins after I send my mate a text about it and asked J6 man how do you spell ****** :p

Only hands you could really put him on are AJ or KK, and even then that's damn unlucky, but J6? :/

I don't see many people getting away from that, if any.

I won a freeroll to gain entry into the Pokerstars Turbo Takedown thats going on right now. Not much has happened yet for me.

Anyhoo thought I'd play the $11 sunday 1/4 million for fun and this is what happens about 10 hands in.

And now I'm out of the Turbo Takedown. Out of both within 5 minutes of eachother both with AA cracked, first by QT then by QJ. Ridiculous. Never been so unlucky in my life.

I don't like cash games really. Admittedly I've barely played them but I just don't like the feel of them the way I do MTT. I'm trying my luck with $4.40 180 man SNG usually, I'm doing ok so far, really they are kinda high for my bankroll but I enjoy the play.

AA is a very hard hand to put down even when logic dictates you should fold. Can get you in all sorts of trouble.

Having said that I have been knocked out of my last two sit & gos by it. :(

The first one there was no way I could fold. I reraise a raiser preflop and get 1 caller. Thought he had Ak and made 2 pair with my 3rd ace. Never occurred to me he'd have QT, who calls a 6xBB raise with QT?

The second one maybe I could have gotten away from but I'm a poker newbie, think I've folded AA once maybe twice since I started playing 3 months ago.

4 in a row. Turbo Takedown, sunday 1/4 million and 2 $4.40 SNG 180 man.

Statistically nearly impossible right?
