suit advice - im getting hitched and need a new one!

OK OK - by flares i mean a slight alter, like these i have...

yeah i don't mind going higher, i have a bit saved up, i was thinking more about how much i would want to pay, i guess i will hit the department stores

personally i wouldn't do that to a suit, and think they look too big in that piccy... but to each his own.

I've mentioned them before on here but King and Allen are worth using. Bespoke start at £250 (but to be honest I didn't rate any of the materials at that price). I recently picked up a full bespoke suit from them for about £400. With very decent material and loads of nice little touches. Had a baste fitting and two further ones so can take a while - so you would need to make sure you have time.

They made a coat for me too.

The fittings are done here, suits made in HK and shipped back and forth.

the king and allen site looks, good but silly boy Jimmy has left it too late, with just 4 weeks to go and not a local store it looks as so i have missed that.

no idea of his build, Paul Smith tend to suit the slimmer build where Boss cater better for bigger blokes

Could not agree more, having owned some Paul Smith trousers/shirts I can say that they feel a size smaller than they claim.

Unless you are 32 waist or lower I wouldn't bother with Paul Smith.

I didn't realise you and Sarah were getting married. Congrats dude.

cheers buddy, i only proposed a week or two back, buy booking the church, kind of gave us a tight time line :D

http://www.slaters.co.uk/en/?extcam=ppc_goog_slaters - there is one which isn't *too* far away from you, in Baisingstoke, I've only ever been to the one in Manchester, awesome selection of suits, I picked up a really nice one for about £180, grey with a lilac pin.. The free alterations is pretty great too, go there first thing and pick it up a few hours later.

HTH

nice one mate, yeah i can go that far, im thinking of booking a day off and going suit shopping anyhow, baisingstoke is fine and just checking the link now, much appreciated.
