new bed ( memory foam question)

Shouldnt be a problem but be aware that some memory foam mattresses get warm as it is...ie you wont really need one.

We've had our memory foam mattress for about a month now and I haven't had a decent nights sleep.
It's bloody horrible and like sleeping on a plank of wood.

actualy i think ive failed in this thread.
can someone check my link i dont think it does have a memory foam topper.
and from what you guys have said thats a good thing !

Personally I have a double bed, with a memory foam topper (sits ontop of a normal sprung matress) which I then have a Heated Overblanket on in the winter. Pure bliss!

My memory foam topper does have two different shaped sides though, a flat for winter (keeps you warmer) and a knobbly side which keeps you cooler in the summer.

I have a memory foam bed and I absolutely love it.

I have back problems though mind, so any sprung beds or anything that isn't memory foam really is horrid to sleep on.

Wouldn't swap mine for anything!

Memory foam beds are okay I suppose but you can't lure your next door neighbour's teenage daughter and her bevvy of sex crazed pals across for a sleep over as they won't be able to jump up and down on it having a pillow fight in see-through nighties like you can on beds with springs in it :D

Think of trying to jump up and down in the sand and that's what it'd be like :D

Sweet lord ... look at the guff I've just posted :D I should lay off the JD and Coke :p

I dunno why, but i always feel like im sleeping in a wet bed when im using memory foam matresses etc, the way you sink into them and they mould around you is strange, ans the pillows are horrible, if you go to roll over the foam takes a while to reset itself so you end up uncomfortable for a while.

Pocket sprung matress with millions of individuals springs, nice and firm beats memory foam hands down IMHO.

And then of course, theres no bounce :(
