I was on the beer drinkers server earlier for a couple of rounds (ingame name is Boris-uk) and got taken out by pieplough many times hopefully get back on for a few more games later tonight

In the whole yes very and I consider myself to be in a far better position to comment on it than someone who doesn't even play on it.

With regards the Pickleater situation I am at odds with the decision myself but am helpless to do anything about it. {SAS} know my position on it but I no longer even play the game so I ask, what is one to do ?

For the record as requested, I have removed the server from my sig and asked Goon to remove it from the front page (you need to bare with me whilst he gets that message) so that it is no longer "advertised" here, And you wont hear another word about it from me on this forum and I ask you do likewise, Finally with regards support for pickle (of which I count myself 1) I suggest that if your that way inclined then simply avoid it if that's what you want to do.

I'm genuinely not interested in making this into a drama, especially not here in a thread that is meant to be about the game itself not some stupid server, I'm simply here to help people with any game related issues or info as I know a lot about the server hosting and PB aspect of it, but I wont stand by and read lies that relate to good friends of mine, simple's.

Some people are idiots, many may not agree with banning Pickleator but at the end of the day the server belongs to SAS, so SAS are within their rights to ban whomever they like if they think it will give a better atmosphere on the server.

Pickleator has a K/D of 2.66 average on Assault, this is very high by most peoples standards. Sure I may get a good round or two but my average K/D is 1.7 overall and I would probably consider myself an average/above average player.

I have very occasionally been accused of hacking and it's obvious that doing that much better than someone like me will lead to accusations like that. But I can also see how it is possible to do that well all the time, I am definitely not the best player out there so the leap from 1.7 K/D to 2.7 K/D is not that great imo.

I think it's a shame people take the SAS server for granted and do stupid things like demand you stop advertising it. I have the utmost respect for you LOAM and must say i've thoroughly enjoyed my game time on the SAS server. I'd say it's easily the best server for BC2 that i've played on and the admins there are never too harsh imo, very rare for me to see any drama at all.

So, thanks LOAM, and sorry to see you not being treated so well, you do a great job here and don't let the tards tell you otherwise.

p.s I hold the most Pickleator gold tags, as Knub used to say "Find a Pickle, knife it up, for the rest of the day you'll have good luck" or something like that!

Apart from PB bans no one has ever been banned for allegedly hacking on our server .
but get caught team killing or being abusive to other players action will be swift.




Also at the end of the day its down to the server owners how they admin there servers.
Anyone who doesn't like it move on!

Personally I think it's a battlefield thing. I've experienced random CTD's on all the previous BF games. Multiple systems, all perfectly stable with other well-programmed games, but bf games have always had CTD problems.

You need to take it to their forums and appeal it there afaik, at least that's what Armadillo was told to do, I sure a simple Google will help.

if it's kicked it's a one time thing, and iirc most of their bans are only a day or two anyway. try rejoining?

That's rather beside the point and i guarantee you contradict yourself when it happens, because if you got banned there and you played there pretty much all the time, then you would respond in a similar way to Kyrne and you would want your ban unlifted to play on that server.
