New hotmail rolled out

Seems okay to me, I would like to eventually switch to gmail but I have my hotmail already associated with so many things it would seem pointless.

Hotmail page hasn't updated for my account yet.

However I tried the BETA of the new Windows Live Messenger and I don't think it worked well. Them trying to incorporate social networking into WLM is just a fail IMO, it's easy enough just to go to said networking site and login that way.

It added the feature to mark an entire folder as read, thank god, I had 1700 unread but they were from years ago so far back in the inbox, they would have stayed like that forever otherwise.

Haha yea, I was actually contemplating going back and marking all 2000 or so of my unread emails read, the only new feature which strikes me as useful though to be honest.

Don't use hotmail enough to like/dislike. However I don't seem to be able to make a bookmark straight to inbox. Sometimes it links to inbox, other times to the main page..

It's horrible.

This morning I received 5 new Junk messages on my email address that has previously received ZERO Junk emails in the 2 years that I've had it.

Just got back home and check again, another 3 messages, all from some Chinese address and titled "RE: something".

:(

I only use it on my iPad/ipod touch..It looked a little weird but not to bothered

on my pc i just use Windows Live Mail

Absolutely hate it, I have tried my best to adapt but it's just not happening :/

I will have to start using a email program instead of using the web-based one, which is a good one to use which is hotmail compatible? :) I was considering using Thunderbird.

Really don't like it. Nowhere near as intuitive as it was, and it just plan doesn't look as good. switch it back !

People like that or just windows live mail which i prefer.

People still use Hotmail, what is it, 2002 or something?
Why wouldn't they? Don't see the problem
