**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

Wow... Just went to buy SC2 after finding out it had TDs etc (which I used to love in WC3), and just found out the price has gone up from £30 to £45 for digital download. What a joke.

It has been that price all along for the digital download. Not sure if the voucher code still works to get it £30 from Tesco.

Nah. Was £30 the other night when I went on to see how much it was. This was at the original release a few days ago btw, I put off buying it as a mate gave me a trial key. So Blizzard LET me trial the game and then jack the price up £15 :o

It was £45 at release.

Isaw it for £30 too! It's now £45!

Whats the voucher for tesco to get this at £30?

Yeah it was £30 or £35, I was sitting here when it came out... I guess the only money they'll get from me will be for diablo 3, although they might release it at £150.

Buy it from tesco for £30?

How are you suggest such a draconian method of game purchase! You do realise your suggestion involves walking and possible death? :p

Truth be told I wanted to get it tonight due to my trial running out midway through an awesome team defence game... once I sleep £30 will seem better spent elsewhere.

Basically im realy strugling with both campaign and multiplayer. So i was wondering if there were any good guides out there in PDF that i could just stick on the ipad and read while playing.

Getting through the campaign is the most important for now. I herd Shokz guide is good but i do not want to pay $37

Any ideas?

Just completed the campaign - absolutely loved it!

Can't quite see how the Zerg expansion is going to follow on directly, but will be interesting to see what they do with it. Hopefully it doesnt take them years to release.
