**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

dont get arsey i wasnt concentrating at all when we played, consdering i was making a sheperds pie at the same time lol hence why i missed the shout out.

it was only a friendly game, i was trying a something different build and i did say i was a bit busy before the game started.

Oh thats alright then, you weren't really playing that game. Thats fine no problem, never mind that you had 2 team mates that were relying on your support to keep the teams fair.

If Kreeeee and I wanted to play a 2v3 then we would have.

Not being funny but 2v2s 3v3s and 4v4s are team games, and if you are not taking the game seriously and going AFK then you are not playing as part of the team. I personally do not have the APM to talk to anyone not playing the game let alone buggering off to make my tea. You really should not have played the game if you were not intending on playing the game.

Friendly game or not I intend to win every game I play. I don't mind (that much) losing a close game or being genuinely outplayed. But I can not stand losing because a team mate couldn't be arsed.

PS I was not being arsey in my original post on this matter.. I was actually offering some advice... You can make your own mind up about this post.

you can download and install it as many times as you want on as many machines as you want, but you need an account for every person who wants to play. You cant sign in more than once with your own account at the same time

Missing something obvious here but I've reached snapping DVD time.

How do you start the game.

I get to the battle net account bit, put in my name and then off I go to a web page, what do I do next?

Yes installed game, account created.

Never mind I see what I've done.

Where it says you're about to create the name you will use on your account etc, I made the assumption it wanted me to put that name in the box, not my account email.

Ignore my last couple of posts, I must have been in a really grumpy mood last night.

Got up this morning, sat down with a mug of coffee and powered through said missions.

I think the missions just encourage the player to be aggressive and explore, and take the fight to the enemy - which is something I could do with practice at, given i'm a right turtler.

So er... as you were? :o

Yup got to say the achievements have really made me change my normal turtle methods of sitting back creating a blob army and attacking. Now im actually actively setting out to build up and go for it

I'm really disappointed to find out that after several debates with Blizzard tech support that they officially don't support SLi/Crossfire. Which explains my abysmal performance in singleplayer (<20fps) but fine in multiplayer (60+fps).

Not very happy =\

dude get over it, i was away for approx 30 seconds nothing to do with 'not being arsed', unfortunately thats when the shout came..
christ oh mighty you need to get out more.
apologies for having a 'life' that even slightly got in the way (however brief) of playing a 'game'. like arguing over it on here is really productive, as you give you so called superior advice whilst making out im simple minded (Pop quiz, hotshot - i understand the term 'team games') all over a quick dash to the oven....boo bloody hoo.

Yeah ditto for me - my normal tactic [single player] was always to just build up base defence, then a huge army then push out. With all the extra achievements on SC2 it really makes you change your game - loved the 'infested' mission sending out 2 squads at night too to keep the buildings falling and also fighting off the horde!

Hopefully changing my play style like this will give me a chance online once I give it a go - as in the past a normal single player 'turtle tactic' never really works against real people.
