Yes, I had some problems last night. I got in from work and it wouldn't connect to my wifi (even though it has before), it got stuck on obtaining IP address and then said unsuccessful.

At first I thouhgt it was becasue it was rooted so I did a factory reset on it, tried to connect to wifi and it connected with no problems.

Then, this morning I wake up to see that it isn't connected to my wifi, so I go to settings and select join and it does the same thing (stuck on obtaining ip..).

I read somewhere on the XDA forum that thisis a bug on some htc handsets and that by changing the name of the router to a shorter name would solve it.

So I changed the name of the router to Stupid and tried to connect and it worked.

I am still at work at the moment so I cannot say if it is still working or the same problem has happened again until I get in later.

But, yes, since updating to 26 I have had some wifi problems. :)

EDIT: Just got in now, and it connected fine.

You are not running x64 windows are you? If you are maybe you need to follow this fix to get Java to work in a command window.

Works a treat!

"Andy" or Andy; going to send my phone to SEUK soon for repair. However the form says not to send the battery. I think my battery problem is caused by the battery, could it be the handset*? There is another fault which is handset related (unless it is O2) though - when I use the internet, the signal suddenly drops every few minutes (even I am in the same position) and comes back 5-20 seconds later.

*When using the internet on 3G, the battery drops around 1% per minute.

im sure that if they look at it to repair and theres nothing wrong with it (when they use there own battery) that they may send you one. could write on the form you have suspicions of a battery problem too

could email/phone them and ask to be sure.

Whoop rooted my x10mini :D and removed peggle, edge, roller coaster and wisepilot.

Still having some trouble removing apps like google talk and playnow it just says no file in list, is there a specific way to typing the appname in cmd prompt?

I need to do this to mine - have you got an up to date guide you followed?

I use Chompsms it seems to have everything now :)

Actually i just installed Handcent, seems to have a slight edge. Although it doesnt have Landscape images where Chomp has both portrait and landscape backgrounds.
