GTX 480 it is then I think. I kinda regretted not buying a 285 when I bought my 275 really, so will be nice to own one single powerful card

I water cooled mine, made all the difference, 850 core and practically silent.
480 @ 850 core is a monster card, some of the framerates it gives is insane and compared to my previous card a 5870 @ 1000 core it destroys it in average and min FPS, for example and explosion in crysis warhead would dip you down to 25-30 FPS with the 5870, the 480 is around 40-45.
At those prices, GTX 480 in SLI is £720, and GTX 470 in SLI is £480.
