Hi,
I've been thinking about getting my first SSD for a while now, and I think i've decided on possibly this one: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-047-OC
Currently, my motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-M61PME-S2P http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3262#ov. This has just 2 SATA ports, both of which are being used at the moment by my HDD and DVD drive.
If I were to buy a 4 Port SATA Serial ATA IDE PCI Adapter Card off've the bay, plugged my current HDD into that and used the SATA port on the motherboard for the SDD, would I notice a difference at all in speed on the old HDD?
Would this solution work? Is there a better alternative?
I hope this makes sense, thanks
