24 PENCE comp fittings :O ??

I'd keep looking at the watercooling section for the next few days/weeks as there will be a lot more changes. New products and crazy prices. A few will feature oin the today only and this week only at somepoint this week ;)

Makes a pleasant change from last year when I was looking at going watercooling and there wasnt any stock anywhere in UK  now Im in the quandry of where Ill prob upgrade next year so dont really want to be going out splashing too much cash on blocks that Ill have to replace shortly, grrrr

Nath a bit off topic but will you be stocking any core only gpu blocks, i'm mainly after the koolance gpu-210 one?

Soon enough my friend.

Hey Rj, any chance you will be getting in 45D rotary, 90D and just normal bitspower compression fitting for 3/8" 1/2" ID? :D, at a competitive price, wink wink ;)

*sigh* rjk does not buy watercooling, he never has done. However we have some Bitspower instock still just look at the clearence section for 3/8".

We have a lot of new Bitspower lines coming in for the 1/2" section, matte black mmmmmm.

Anybody else got theirs yet? If so, are all your fittings exactly the same? Although all the ones I got all came Feser bags there is a mix of two different designs. The main difference is the internal bore on one of the designs is noticeably smaller than the second, also the barb is different and they have a slightly wider base. Once everything is tubed up you won't be able to see the difference so at 24p a shot I'm not really complaining, just wondered if this was the case across the board.

Havn't tried them on my tube yet so i hope they aren't a mix of 3/8"ID-1/2"OD and 10/8mm fittings. May be more of a problem if that is the case I suppose. I have 5 of the left hand and 15 of the right hand in this batch for interest.

What about the sliver shining :(?

The fittings with feser etched on them are the original design, the ones without and with the shorted barb are the newer version. My 3/4od are all the newer type and they work great. Think ocuk should have said if they were coming from mixed batches but hardly deal breaker at 24p each and as you say you won't even notice obnce they are fitted.

Same thing happened to me. I got 6 of the ones with the barb bit sticking out and 28 of the smaller ones. They all still fit 3/8" tubing niceley and it still looks great so for 24p each I'm not complaining :p

Why would you buy so many, i know they are cheap but...

2 pumps = 4 fittings
4 rads = 8
cpu blcok = 2
2 gpu blocks = 4
mosfet blocks = 4
nb/sb block = 2
reservoir = 2
ram coolers = 2
psu barbs = 2

Adds up to 30 plus the spares are in preparation for anything else.

There all 2nd hand or damaged in some form so aethetically nothing to brag about :( Just counting down the days til student loan is relased to get some nice sr1's :D

You're watercooling your PSU and RAM...?

Why?

What PSU are you going for - the koolance one? I'd personally go for a better, more efficient PSU (Seasonic x series, enermax etc) which'll be cheaper and quieter tha running a more powerful pump to overcome the horribly restrictive RAM and PSU blocks. And RAM cooling is also a bit questionable in terms of need since DDR3 needs much less voltage anyhow.

Just seems you want to spend money for the sake of it - nothing wrong with wanting the best, but if that's the case the extra hundreds of pounds spent on those bits would be better spent on a third GPU if you're wanting to build a monster...

Atm its 2 d5's in series and tbh i find them silent when suspended. Atm they send vibrations through the case but that wont be a problem as in the next build they will be outside the case in a box that I'll make.

I have a coolermaster 1000 real power after reading reviews about it being silent but when I got it, it was far from. Even after chaging the fans 2 times. My ocz gold ram sticks get very hot to touch which is worrying and is probably due to the lower fan speeds in the chassis hence why they will be cooled.

Don't really need a third GPU, performance wise I'm happy it's just the noise. I often have my pc on at night in the same room that I sleep in so its a personal requirement tbh.

And about spending money, most of the stuff in my system are second hand/ salvaged from other faulty systems :)

Yup just got mine today.. 4 of the left ones and 6 of the right ones..

This is very good news :) Any chance of you stocking the matte black D5 pump mod and top too? :p

Yes and yes.

Yes.

Hmm this is not right. I did not know they were mixed. Goddamn feser. They were all bought at the same time time so they have all come from the same batch.

If you guys want to return any and get a particular "version" of the fittings just let me know. :)

Still cannot argue with the price :P Will add a disclaimer mentioned the mixed bad (literally) of fittings.
