A Level results on Thursday

Aye, 4 day weekend this week! Out Thursday, Fabric on Friday and Swindon Invincible festival here on Saturday and Sunday :D

I'll either be drowning my sorrows or celebrating my uni acceptance! :p

I am so scared. Just lost all my confidence to exams, after trying last year and coming out with 2 fails and 2 decent passes, i'm hoping to have an improvement and a uni place.
 
Good luck to everyone! I just did GCSE's but did Core1 as well. I'm hoping to get 90%+ in core1, I care about that more than all my GCSE's put together :p

Also: if anyone has offers, good luck in getting the required grades

EDIT: This thread doesn't count as official. On the day, we'll have to make an official results thread :p

This is absolutely killing me. I don't know if I've quite scraped into my firm choice. I really want to be at Bristol :(

Would love to live closer to london or I'd go fabric myself. Might be going manchester or the local town though. Need to save money for creamfields next weekend though! :D

Are you going via train or car? Train is a mistress waiting in the morning! My friend and I got kicked off a basically empty train for being and hour early. It was a long morning :p luckily it's car this time.

What college do you go to then?

Train haha, though I'm staying over night at a friends place. I'm at UWE, only going out Thursday for the "scenery" ;)
 
Just a quick note to anyone who checks UCAS track on Thursday morning and finds out that they haven't made it into their firm (or insurance choice). Don't think that if this happens your grades are going to be awful. I missed out on my firm choice, which was an offer of ABB.

Despite track telling me I was into my insurance (BBB), there I am panicking for two hours until I can pick up my results. I even had my dad commenting that I've probably messed up a lot, if I didn't make my firm. Worried some more. Until I opened the envelope and found out I'd got AAC.

More so, good luck to anyone receiving A level results on Thursday!
 
Just AS results for me. Currently hoping I got an A on Core 2 and didn't get below a C on M1 (wishful thinking ahoy! :p). Also I guess it'll be fun to find out what I got in the media studies lottery. :o

Best of luck to those who're receiving their full A-Levels, though, I imagine it's very stressful.
