Altering combat trousers to 3/4 lengths? - Whats that stuff called? magic something?

As above, there is something you can buy which will allow you to alter trousers or clothes (in this case combats) I want to alter them so they are going from full length combat trousers to 3/4 length, the stuff is called magic something?

It's rubbish, OK for the wifes skirts etc but no good for rougher jeans / combats etc, really needs to be sewn as well.

Snip and then use a lighter to burn the edges - especially as its combats.

Sewing machine and a pair of scissors. This really is the only way to get a "factory" type finish..

Will see how it goes, they are not really the type of combats with a rough/frailed edge, so the lighter method wouldnt really work

I hope this is just you needing to shorten them for your height, as opposed to wanting them to be actual 3/4 length trousers. Since that would just be ridiculous...

Anyways, grab a sewing needle. It's a useful skill to learn.
