This morning I recieved delivery of a beautiful new Titan Exodus machine.

Mboard: Asus P7P55D-E

It is running like a dream, all except one thing. I bought a c300 seperatly and put windows 7 x64 on it. Having spent almost 4 hours on this now, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Getting very frustrated :(

I have ACPI enabled on the marvell controller in the bios. I've updated with the newest version of every driver from the ASUS website.

Can anyone offer me any help?

This is my first time with an SSD.

Have you made sure you have plugged your SSD into the correct port? grey I belive the sata6 should be for the marvell.

I have the same drive and when i tried to use sata III on my mobo i had the same issues,im just using sata II now no loss really tbh.

There are swarms of people with top class benchmarks of the c300 though ... i cant help but think that there's something i'm not doing correctly, rather than just a 'this will not work'.

Problem solved:

The ASUS P7P55D-E Motherboard has an option in the bios called 'IO_Levelup' which allows you to choose USBIII or SATAIII, but not both.

I think this is running at full speed now ...
