Damn it!
Thats it, I've decided, I hate looking for cars! I've been looking around now at various possible scenarios from cheaper/older more luxurious cars, but due to the age, they are scratched, scuffed, interiors well worn, not looked after etc
People just don't seem to look after their cars
I bought my Fiesta ST, when it was just over 15 months old with 2,300 miles on the clock and it was immaculate, and I meticulously looked after it, it left me looking as good as when I bought it, no scuffs, scratches or anything, especially the interior. Yes I know to some its not a special car, but because it was mine, I looked after it. It was near enough 5 years old when I sold it and the chap that got it said it was just like new
Now I'm looking at similar or a year younger cars and they have been scuffed, trim bits scratched to buggery, scuffed alloys etc. It seems I must be a rare person who actually looks after what they buy
Thankfully my 10k budget originally set was money I'd saved + the sale of my fiesta. But it looks like I'm going to have to go to as near as new as possible, to find an unmarked car which will mean upping my budget considerably
Sorry for the random rant, but i needed to vent!
The reason that sparked this was I went to a honda dealers to look at an 56 plate Accord 2.4i EX with 26k on the clock. The rear door handles looked like they'd been hacked with a axe, scuffs on the dash etc. I sat in a civic too, and I really like the dash, but they were all scuffed and the perspex stuff that covers the dials etc looked liked they were cleaned with wire wool!
