ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. Not necessarily going to purchase this. Its just a test, so if im doing anything stupid i would like to learn from it thanks!

Get jubilee clips, not plastic clips. Jubilee clips are easier to fasten very tightly. Also get 7/16 tubing and 1/2 barbs - then put the tubing ends in boiling water and slip them over the barbs. That way you may not even need clips at all.

+1 for the jubilee clips. A box of 10 is about £3.50 and they will never leak.

Only problem I found with using 7/16 tubing over 1/2" barbs is they are almost impossible to remove without damaging the pipe because they will lose their elasticity. If you intend to junk the pipes once they're off then this method works fine, but I would never re-use stretched pipe as it's asking for trouble.

I use 1/2" pipe with M00 Sized Jubilee clips and they are a perfect fit with no 'track' visible after they are tightened. 000 Size are too big.

Bitzpower look the best but are bling and bling money, and compression don't awlays give you much room on some cpu blocks. HTH

Seriously 7/16 over 1/2 barbs don't require clips. If you want to be ultra scared over leaks then use them but I wouldn't bother. Personally I use 3/8 over 1/2 barbs.

I wouldn't bother getting a pump/res combo unless you are seriously space restricted. They can make a terrible noise and are not known for reliability or flow/head.

Rule of thumb would be to spend as much as you can now on high quality gear. It will last you a very long time.

Do not get 7/16" tubing over 1/2" for your first setup. You're way safer with not screwing anything up and getting 1/2" tubing plus jubilee clips.

This should give you way better temps and be more futureproof. Get 2 Yate Loons for this setup and jubilee clips for securing tubing. Also distilled water and silver coil as a coolant.

ok here is some help

that fluid xp, if i were you i would DROP it like a HOT brick! Its very expensive for what it is and its Viscosity is VERY high and for restrictive blocks you would actually loose QUITE a lot of performance. if i may i have completed a review comparing fluid XP with thermochill fluid and distilled water

BTW fluix xp feels very much like oil!

For this link please do not use IE
