***Official***Smashing Southern Meet (Hampshire Meet Mk V)

Turns out Fox isn't scary like I had imagined him to be.
Oh and SoliD drives like a **** :D :p

I don't know what you mean? I was taking it easy today as it was wet....

Thanks for everyone for turning up today, obviously moving it forward to get some good weather didnt really work!

Sorry for not much planning for this one but will put a bit more effort in next time and try to get a new route/pub etc sorted and get some other things going on, with fingers crossed some better weather, but shall have to wait for our early slot next year for that.

That car is awesome!

I was so scared on the way to the pub today, everyone was doing mad overtaking. Joshy, who I was following and relying on for directions, almost died in spectacular fashion with a big 4x4.

Which meant I was then leading Fox, who I hoped already knew the way, because I was a bit worried I was going to get us lost. Plus I was worried he was taking notes and critiquing my driving style :(

Where were you going earlier SoliD?

And why were the lower lights in your rear clusters flashing rapidly at one point?

Oh and there was another thing I was gonna ask but I've forgotten now :D

I saw that as well, I literally went for the brakes to brake hard to avoid what I felt was sure to be an enormous head on crash

I'm sure you were behind me for at least some of the way and I wouldn't define any of my overtakes as "mad"! Heard about the one you mentioned though, some worried drivers in the queue behind...

I missed all the action, didn't see any questionable overtakes at all! I must have been in the 'win' section of the convoys!

Off to my brothers as flying out to France first thing tomorrow.

Some gearknob had their rear fog light on so I tried to educate them, don't think it worked.

Ok.

I didn't see anything bad - I was being quite restrained myself given the weather. Did overtake a few cars but wasn't in a particular hurry as most of the time there were too many other cars ahead to get caught up with so couldn't be bothered.

Did you not overtake me + a white van with a car approaching in the opposite direction which had to slow down because of you? Then did several slaloms behind the convoy? And did you not undertake me/Howard + another 6 or 7 cars on the M3? ;)
