Sign here if your Steam account has NEVER been compromised

@bhavv

if you have such a big problem with things being hacked into why do you even use the internet? :o

I dont have a problem with being hacked online, I wouldnt lose anything out of it other than a free account. I would have a problem with losing all the money put into steam, if I had all of my games on Steam and having said account banned by Valve.

I just also wrote hacked as in 'Banned / Hacked', as definate possibilities of happening to anyone that had all of their games on Steam, and so the OP felt the need to create this thread.

All secure since I started using steam in 2004 and don't know anyone in person (gf, 3 house mates while at Uni, brother, 4 or so friends at the moment, my uncle) who has ever lost their either.

Me

But I'm not stupid enough too let it be hacked :p

This, sorry to be blunt but it's pretty much always the users fault. I have many online gaming accounts for years and never have been hacked. The most common things I see is people using forum email as their account email and getting phish emails etc, or downloading mods with key loggers and falling for stupid crap.

You would be surprised at some of the rages on the steam forums for being hacked when they were stupid enough to click spoof links.

i have 2 steam accounts

neither has ever been compromised

i prefer steam over physical copies, although i do worry about what i would do if one of the steam accounts was compromised or banned, etc. i have spent a fortune on steam over the years

*sigh*

Aside from all your other ridiculous posts you clearly haven't thought this 1 through either.

I think what you meant to say was "Put your hands up if you have no arms" proving that no one has no arms.

Not really, that wasnt the point at all.

It was a direct comparison to this threads title. Asking for people who have steam accounts that have never been compromised is as meaningless as asking people to put their hands up if they have hands. Neither statement proves anything about the opposite scenario (compromsed account, or having no hands).

It means nothing, and shows nothing regarding anyone that may have had an account compromised, or that might not have any hands.

Then again, there are probably far fewer people in the world that have no hands than people whose steam accounts have been compromised :p.

Well it does happen, as much as people here would like to imagine that it never does and is completely impossible to have your steam account banned or hacked after having paid in that fortune on every game you ever bought.

I'm not sure if you noticed.. but I'm pretty sure this entire thread never set out to prove anything. It's aim was to wind people like you up (in fact you in particular!).

You wish.

Nobody is saying that it doesn't happen.

People are saying it doesn't happen to people that aren't retarded enough to have a weak password or get caught by a phishing scam.
