Your biggest ever let down game... EVER!

Is this a thread about games i was really looking forward to, but ended up being completely gob smacked at how crap it actually was? Or just hating on games i've disliked in general? Going by the thread, it appears to be the later one.

1: Grand Prix 4. Completed no full races due to constantly getting stuck in the pits. Gp2 and Gp3 I must have completed 10'000s of virtual miles. like back to back full races at Monaco etc.
2: Half life 2. Now ive yet to complete this one, ive completed Half life 1 100s of times, including doing it without dying a few times. Half life 2 just lost my interest so easy.

NFS: Undercover - It ruined everything that made Most Wanted fun, where was the traffic?!

Halo 3 - Trailer made it look immense, played it and it was total crap, generic doesn't even cover it.

GTA 4 - Just looked like crap and couldn't get into it.

Crysis - Bought it on a whim but expected a lot better than I got, repetitive and although it gave you the illusion of being able to infiltrate stealthily or all guns blazing, if you went for the latter option things just got stupid and you just had to end up legging it. The voice acting of the koreans was bloody annoying too unless you had it in korean.

UT3 - Magic of ut99 and even 2004 was simply gone :( The art direction had gone to pot too, far too many dark and gloomy maps and not enough maps to start off with. Neither encapsulated UT99 but I loved 2004 at the time.

Need for Speed: Shift strikes me as a stand out one. I love racing games but this ran like utter dog **** on the PC. Terribad console ports FTL.

Also Far Cry 2, below post reminded me of it! Absolutely horrid terrible boring game, far too sandbox for my liking. Ebayed it day after it arrived.

Elite - Frontier: First Encounters
The Elite games were great for their day but then this came out and it crash-tastic. Send loads of spare time playing and boom, crashed. By the time they put out the fix all interest was lost.

Farcry 2
Why o why Africa. Why not continue with the Jack Carver story. Such a let down.

Neverwinter Nights
Reasonable idea but so boring and ran like a dog when first released.

Hellgate: London
Loved the idea, quite enjoyed the game. Not the best with the repetition and not so great graphics but it is one of the very few games I took part in on-line as I really did enjoy it and then they killed the on-line servers and any new patches / content. There were distinct issues with licensing in Asia and no patches were coming through. The company who bought the rights runs a Korean version but you need a Korean ID (think NI number) to register.

Conversely I love the Stalker series but the games really do take some getting in to so I can understand why so many dislike them, especially if they are playing without the 'Complete mod' series of patches.
