Pakistan will be the next place for the coalition to invade, what with all the terroists in the swat valley it really is a hell hole of a country and no wonder they come to Britain for a better life.
Also Pakistan should sign those men up to the test match, they look like they could hit a few sixes.

You cannot win a war in Afghanistan without controlling the Pakistani border. The border provides a safe route for food, medical and military supplies as well as freshly trained fighters. Pakistan really is a holding ground for huge influxes of foreign fighters as well as local bred militants and the government helps to fund it all and offer a safe haven as they believe America will never declare war on Pakistan. There have already been a handful of precision attacks made unofficially by the US military and airforce targetting the tribal regions of Pakistan responsible for harbouring a vast majority of Taliban fighters, so I believe you are probably right. It's only a matter of time before the coalition say enough is enough and either enforce some kind of sanction or take larger scale military action. Either that or we will pull out of Afghanistan alltogether.
Nukes make it a little more difficult though, they wouldn't even have to use them, just "lose" them.
That exactly what the Pakistani government and the Taliban are exploiting. Our boys spend weeks taking a stronghold, only to give it up in days because re-supply is so difficult due to the terrain and the threat of roadside bombs. The taliban have no such problem as long as they can hop across the border in plain clothes and get resupplied in Pakistan.
And we should should send them money why ?
You could argue that it isn't the majority of the population that are extremists but when push comes to shove would they support us or them in a pinch ?
I'll wager it wouldn't be us, so as far as I'm concerned they can help themselves. They have made their own political bed, it's time for them to lie in it.

Who says the Pakistani military has to get them here, terrorist groups have proven very resourceful I'm sure they could get one into a major port/city.
They do work, and they sort of needed them in thier little cold war with India.
People are dying all over the world from curable diseases and poverty in countries that arent supporting wars against us. Just because we see pictures of a few grubby kids floating down the river holding onto lumps of wood we should all turn hippy and hand our money over to an extremist supporting nation that will no doubt use the money to arm themselves further against us ?

Yeah and then the coalition come in to "help bring peace to Pakistan" like they so successfully have done in Iraq. Reason countries have nukes is so they can defend themselves against greedy power hungry paranoid countries like the US. The US should never had got involved with Iraq, they were scared of Iraqs so called WMD. They starting to look at Iran now.... US will never learn

you do realise that the money wont be going to the government but more the aid workers? do some people here not realised that there are 10s of millions of lives that have been ruined. in the end the few percent of extremists, are worth that much to you that youd rather not donate to save countless amount of innocent lives. this isnt just about good v evil, its about humanitarianism.
There are currently over 1 million homeless in the United Kingdom, I would rather donate money to improve my own countries living conditions than pour money into a bottomless pit like Pakistan that can ill support it's own population at the best of times and would rather hoarde nuclear weapons than drag it's population out of poverty. We can't keep being held accountable for other countries balls ups because they refuse to take the necessary precautions themselves.
