However in this case, it would be the perfect punishment to stick her in a wheelie bin for fifteen hours, swimming in her own fear and faeces, to see how she likes it.

You can, sad people devoting time to threatening her, seriously do people not have better things to do in life then attack or cause hurt to someone, she will be prosecuted, that is her punishment.

She is probably like millions of other folks who think cats are vermin, no better than rats, and has also found here garden to be the chosen place for the local cats to use as a toilet.

It however does not justify cruelty, but does re-enforce the belief of people like me who hates cats that the owner should keep control over his damn animal and it would not get into trouble. Keep your cat in the house and then it will be safe, as will some of the 7 million song birds cats kill each year.

Regardless if you love OR hate animals of any kind, no law states Cats in particular should be kept indoors so if confronted by one in the street or whatever does not give any human being the right to distress/hurt an animal regardless of where it should be.

You move on with your journey and so on, not enact what you believe is wrong/right thing to do based on your feelings towards an animal or whatever else for that matter.

Stupid woman regardless if prosecuted will/have learnt her lesson, and so should others reading this 'story.'

People have a funny way of thinking based on their views, it doesn't mean you can express that 'hate' for an animal in broad daylight on a defenceless adorable kitty-kat!
