Finance haters gonna hate :-)

The difference here is that an Alfa has style, grace, great noise, lovely interior, and you KNOW you want one, you know it doesn't make financial sense, but you forgo that for the experience. You simply CANNOT say that about a hyundai i10.
But look at the uproar its caused, 129ish posts in how long ? Doesn't that say something itself ?
The OP knows he is trolling a bit because he knew Motors wouldn't approve.. and look at this thread fly, your all incensed by his choice !

Why not admit you've bought a lemon? The only thing missing, is that fact it's not yellow... It's not yellow is it?

maybe not much, but I wouldn't trust a word you say as experience is everything, not just what info you glean from forums and max power mags :)
*yawn* I don't even read car magazines as for the most part they are full of rubbish.
For your information I have a part time job in the industry :).

Seems like you paid a bit over the odds. That said within 60 miles of my location there is one i10 with an auto box so I can see why you might have to pay OTT if you need one in a hurry and don't want to tour the uk to find one.

I don't get why if someone buys a nearly new city car you always get the same old "a £2k Fiesta does the same job" comments. Yes it does, but a 7 year old *insert any car* does the same job as a 2 year old one yet we don't say that everyone should be driving 7 year old cars do we

But when they're financing it, so therefore do not really have the money to justify it, then we can quite easily say that for much less money, something else would have been much better.
