Alpha? Well if you say so. You look the other direction and have your wallet in one hand and the jacket in another and see how well you do. I wasn't about to throw my wallet, just to release my inner beast Lol. Funny thing is, none of it actually hurt, yeah I have bruises all down my chest from pushing me right into the shelf.
 
"Banter" doesn't really work when there is just two people imo, it works in a group of friends as there is an audience of sorts. Going toe to toe by yourselves just seems weird to me.

I would say it is more that banter stops working when one side isn't finding it funny. In this case, one side wasn't finding it funny yet the other continued.

Serious question. How old are you guys? I think if you were a couple of blokes and this happened security would have been all over it, where as a couple of kids, nothing in it, just chuck them out. I think you need to ditch your mate, and actually do what YOU want to do in life, because if he's only your best mate because he tells you... he's using you and is no mate.
