Finance haters gonna hate :-)

Good luck with little scamp, much better than having a big beemer on your driveway, waiting for the next repair bill.

Perfect for lots of people to buy a cheap car with warranty, and use as every day run about.

keep the service book upto date for the warranty.

and drive it like its stolen, he he.

 A brand new BMW is unlikely to have any major issues for a long time.

You don't need a driving license to tell people how many MPG a Scenic does or how the seats in a Zafira fold down, or what options a 320i has on it.

No, but they can advise on how a car feels, try and sell the car rather than simple stats that can be got online easily.

That'd be what the salesman probably does when he becomes available.

Nothing at all wrong with the kid talking people through the features on the car if he knows them, i'd imagine 90% of people would want to know them anyway and probably wouldn't have done significant online research prior to turning up at the Vauxhall dealership.

Still wouldn't want that as service.

Most cars in showrooms have details on the screen regarding the essentials.
Also unless the person is blind they can see what small cars are in a main dealer showroom :p

Seeing that this thread is about new/almost new cars I thought that was what he was referring to.

Nope, he will be referring to my car as the OP was earlier on in the thread. Completlely confused as to why, it's not as if the choice was either an i10 or a time machine to go back 4 years and buy my car before I managed to buy it

Especially when there's only 1 choice in each class of car!

Weren't they on about someone doses 530i before yours?

I was comparing a 8k beemer with a 8k newer car with warranty.

Dont get me wrong, I know what the "better" car is, but everybodys circumstances are different, hence the choice to buy newer with warranty.

If the better half likes it, then thats fine, hopefully you can thrash it for a few years, (until warranty expires) and start again with another one.

look at top gear's track cars, alright your dealer isnt going to replace the shocks every few months if you drive it on a track every other day.
